Here is an article from John Wolf:

Dec 2009 - the time to reflect on our blessings and play on our strengths. The Pen Jabs met once again to share our writing experience. Enjoy.

Dec09

Pauline Hager, Sally Gary, Linda Meckler, Sam Warren, Mary Prokop, LinDee Rochelle, and John Wolf met at the Pauline's house for lunch and chat. Our discussion centered on personal projects, taping interviews, and marketing opportunities. Mary Prokop is writing a memoir and is new to the group.

I filled Mary, Sally and Sam in on what we've been doing as a group for the last three years, and then we on-and-on about The Writer's Loft video project. LinDee gave us the good and the bad news about the Infinity conference that we expected 15 January. That has been pushed back to February.

Linda is about to get her new book "Fight Your Insurance and Win" back from Infinity and out into the market place. My book "Benny Plays the Blues" is on the streets now and selling. LinDee is working hard on her book "Blast from Your Past - Rock-n-Roll Radio DJs who ROCKED Your World! 1954 ~ 1979, Vol. I." I thought my titles were long. Pauline is in an edit cycle on her book "Mourning is Forever."

Sam Warren is the incoming president of the SD Writers and Editors Guild and the editor of SD Write Way website that lists all the current event in San Diego concerning writers.

2010 looks like an exciting year for the indie writer with many activities on the horizon with Mary Quigley's project, Read-Local activity, and the possibility of an Infinity writers conference. I have a slot called The Internet and the Wired Author to present.

The fourth episode of The Writer's Loft is set to be taped 8 January and plans for two others in the mill. The video projects have the opportunity to expand. I opened a ning site for authors called "authorflicks.ning.com" Check it out. The idea is to provide video services to authors.
