The food was great as usual, which is becoming our main focus - almost. We continue our chat on where to sell books. We have convinced ourselves we know what to do, it's the where to do it that's the problem. I reflected on my trip to the Oakland area for four days of books signings. The venues just didn't support sales. I managed to sell six books, but that was mostly accidental apon leaving the venue.

We are planning on contacting libraries, book stores, and charity organizations that support author (and allow selling on the premise.

We contemplated the idea of a writers conference that would educate and offer the opportunity to sell. Teaching classes on publishing or writing where the books could be presented to the public. There are several new online sales outlets for independent authors. The ones that share in the profits verses upfront fees are the ones you want to go with. I signed up for two of them. More on the success of that in the future.
