Nov 2009 - the time to reflect on our blessings and play on our strengths. The Pen Jabs met once again to share our writing experience. Enjoy.


 

 

 

Jack Wolf, Marj Lacey, LinDee Rochelle, and Linda Meckler met at the wolfman's house for lunch and chat. Our discussion centered on personal projects, taping interviews, and marketing opportunities.

 

We discussed how to get our books into eBook format and onto a variety of places that now sell for us like Amazon, Smashwords, etc. We discussed book covers, general self-publishing issues like being listed on Ingram.

 

We talked about our twitter and Facebook accounts and ways to drive buyers to our sites.

 

I showed episode 1, "The Crow's Nest", of The Writer's Loft - this is a special advance showing. The video will be on Cox Cable channels 23 and 18, and TimeWarner channels 19 and 24 sometime in November. The second episode is complete. It's called "Wordsmiths."

 

I am working on a third episode called "Book Design" and hope to have it complete by the end of November.
