Aug/Sep 2009 - the time to reflect on our blessings and play on our strengths. The Pen Jabs met once again to share our writing experience. Enjoy.

Jack Wolf, Pauline Hager, LinDee Rochelle lined up for the photo-op at Pauline's house. Our discussion centered on personal projects, taping interviews, and marketing opportunities.

Pauline is still in a heroic effort writing about a Greek hero and his heroic efforts. LinDee is still jamming with DJ, gathering more interviews, typing her fingers raw, and polishing off her book. I wonder who an editor like LinDee gets for an editor for her book?

Jack is trying to his book about Benny Hager, inspired name from Pauline, into print. A foreword has been secured from friend John Cain and editing is being done by expert wordsmithe Rob Gworek. The cover is done, a design by Sean Capshaw - very cool photographer - go Photoshop!

New-news: Jack belongs to a TV film crew now and through that experience has been rubbing elbows with video dudes. Networking works. The September issue of F&Q features his first book trailer, author interviews to follow. If we get this process down, we can run various folks through it to generate a video presence like we did last year for a Internet website presence. Stay tuned.

We heard from Linda Meckler she got an article in the Californian Magazine - way to go. Let us see the pages when it comes out.

LinDee informed us that Infinity Publishing isn't planning a conference in California in 2010. Are we going to let that happen? There is a plan in the air to find a way to gather enough wannabe writers to make them change their minds. So if you have an idea, let me know. Authors helping author is what it is all about.
