A group of Infinity authors and friends met at the Shakespeare Pub to discuss writing and promoting our books. The people in the photo are: (left to right) John Wolf; Joe Naiman; Linda Meckler; Helen Chang; Lindee Rochelle.

As you can see, the group has grown. Joe writes for the North County newspapers and has written a book about baseball, and Helen writes business motivational topics. She is the co-author of a new book called “Flip and Grow Rich” with Armando Montelongo concerning real estate savvy. Lindee is also a local writer, has editing service, and does PR work. Her lastest release is titled: "Exploding PR Myths" and will be published by Infinity.

We met at the pub on St. Patrick's Day, which was a full house, but the service and grub were excellent as always. Ideas of promo-ing books via fund raiser dinners where several author migrate from table to table during the dinner to pitch their book and field questions from the dinners. This gives the opportunity to sell at the back of room afterwards, get a free meal, and support a charity or arts funds raise.

We talk about our current projects and tentatively set April 9th, W. C. Fields birthday, as the next meeting date.
