This month the Pen Jabs met in Balboa Park at the Japanese pavilion. The people in the photo are: (left to right) Linda Meckler; Irene DesGeorges; Pauline Hager; John Wolf ; LinDee Rochelle.

This month we brown bagged a lunch into the park on a glorious day. We jabbered about Irene's successful book signing at the Penasquitos Library and LinDee's book about Jackalopes. LinDee is a professional editor and keep busy with that line of work. Pauline is in the throes of editing her new book about a Greek hero.

The Wolf-man is busy building a better website. The idea is linkto the website from the book by adding a line that informs the reader that maps, pictures, and character profiles can be found on the site. It should make for good promo and a more exciting extention for the reader.

Linda told us about her ever expanding eBook collection. We also discussed the virtues of controlling you own website. The constant updates can become an expensive hassle for an author unless you learn how to do the code yourself.

Most of the time we spent just getting to know each other better. It is a fun group and we gain new ideas from each other on each visit. The next meeting will be on May 20 at Pauline's house.
