Responses for ~ Max's Story |
Hi Max,
Great lesson for the average American that is buyer stuff he doesn't need and then throws it away. The best we do is recycle by virtue of the garage sale.

Mr. Max,
I loved your "Buddha Wisdom." Unfortunately, today we have become a "throw away society." If only we could recycle our broken products, but it is almost impossible. There have been many times when a part in a relatively new appliance had broken, and I was unable to get a new part. I was forced to throw it away since it was of no use. Oftentimes, it is cheaper to buy a new product than to have the old one repaired. I am sure this make Buddha very sad when he hears this. It certainly does for me.

I love this contribution by Max Babi.
I fully believe that the simple Eastern wisdoms of the ages from Buddha, Confuscious, Yogananda, Gandhi, and the scriptures of those philosophies, like the Bible often told in parable offer more profundity in the art of living of one's life than any other discipline or discovery. I have a little book of the sayings of Confuscious that I tend to use for a guide in much that requires pure common sense thinking.
I'd always be glad to see contributions from Max here at Fox and Quill.
