Responses for ~ John's Review
"Buzz - iPhone"

Good morning, Mr. Kennel Man . . .

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I can't imagine attempting to read an entire volume on a two-inch square screen. A computer screen is pushing it for me. For an avid reader, there is nothing quite like curling on a couch with a page-turner novel. As a society, we've contributed to our own high stress levels and the boon in pharmaceuticals simply by failing to slow down and enjoy a moment, to relax for an hour in a pleasurable activity. Often, things must travel full circle in this physical realm. Natural law. Personally, I think a forced slow down, a return to candlelight and pulp, a re-embracing of old values out of necessity, will steer us toward the path to enlightenment. Better known to us old folks as 'common sense'.

The surge in technological capability and value cannot be denied in fields of business, global communication, reaction to emergencies requiring rescue operations, etc. And, yes, to writers, too. Yet, when it becomes the method used to relax, entertain, and interact with others, in my opinion, it is the path to a society of robots powered by a pocket-sized dictator. With the advances in recyling the pulp, it has the promise of also becoming 'green' rather than yet another contributor of the toxic waste we contintue to pour into the environment.

You knew this ol' tree hugger had to get that argument in. :)

Another great missive from you, Wolf Man.
