Hi Rod,
I tell you how much being in a band has meant to me. I wasn't excited by all the marching and sitting through the football games, but when I stand on a street and watch a band go my, I get goose bumps. The sound if full of doppler effects, thumping pulses of energy, and the music - the music is exhilarating. Fun story.

I read the story before, but it was worth reading again! And as a former high school band member the story brought back some of my old marching and tooting and practicing days. I'll look forward to seeing more of your stories in F & Q!
