I like your enthusiasm. In the classical sense, you're perfectly right. I personally think the game has changed. The Congress has passed the apron of its power on to the President and the Judicial Branch is peppered with political appointees that obviously follow party lines. The government has shifted from fairness to calculated bias. Whether this helps or hurts the average American is yet to be seen. Obviously, the current spending of all the kingdom's gold on global wars has had a downward trend on the consumer rampant beast America has been for so many years. Whether it drives a stake through the beast's heart is yet to be seen as well.

There's change coming all right. Obama doesn't have a monopoly on that concept. History is worming its way out of the woods and it's wearing body armor. The time honored past is wonderful, but the future is paved with a passionate road toward new horizons.

Susan, you got it right; I'm in total agreement. We finally recognized the enemy. We foolishly thought that Congress is the servant of the people, when in fact, we serve them through our tax dollars whether we voted for them or not. One way to constain this hierarchy of overinduled rogues is, and I quote you, "We must insist on enactment of term limits for the Congress..." It's not the complete answer, but it's a start. Remember, in many cases, politicians are a reflection of their constituents.

Thanks for your superb article.
