Responses for ~ Susan Haley's |
Susan,
Let's keep this ball rolling and see where it takes us. Lois is trying to get me connected to her friend Patty here in San Diego, just one more networking story to be told. It's all good. Thanks for the morale booster.

Susan, funny you should write about our Infinity networking group. Recently, I was thinking how much I have benefited by being a member of this special group. I was sooo green about publishing and marketing when I had my first book published. I feel much more confident today as a result of networking with everyone. Even if my second book doesn't make it on the "Best Seller" list, I'm enriched thanks to all of you.

Yes, Susan and John, we have been there for each other many a time. Networking is important to our marketing efforts, there is no doubt about it. But freindship is number 1 in my book, and what dear friends you have become to me. We learn from one another, brainstorm together and extend a helping hand whenever possible. Becoming an author brings many unexpected rewards: intellectual stimulation, learning andgrowth, comaraderie that treaches far beyond idle chatter.
Hugs to you both and all my West Coast adopted friends!

Jack, I love your addition to my little recollection. I also want to thank Linda and Pauline for their response. I think what I wrote is so true. I do think of you all as special friends and over here in the east, Lois and me have become very close in the real world as well. We're planning another get together as I speak. We've worked so much together, I cannot imagine not knowing her.
I wait patiently to swing a trip to San Diego. :) Maybe the new book will get me out that way. And anyone who didn't get my email switch notice, it's now amberfawn@comcast.net
