Excellent article.
I hope that it gets wide exposure so that readers, particularly women, will respond. Unfortunately, I doubt this will happen as given the current gloomy economic outlook, far too many prefer to hear about celebrity gossip, etc. rather than more serious or analytical subjects that they may find depressing. Even way back when the public depended on newspapers and radio for their news (except maybe during WWII), they also gobbled up tabloids, movie magazines and even comics with the same fervor that today's public turns to the diluted/highly edited/tabloid type newscasts, or more and more frequently, online news bites.
