"Do-It-Yourself Publishing"

Oie vie,

At least, if you get totally frustrated, you can fire yourself and throw yourself out of the office and not get sued. I believe that many that have followed the path you have described get so enthralled in the process, they come publishers for other people and only get back to writing again after a long career of dodging bullets.

Russ,

Wow! Becoming your own publishing company is quite an accomplishment. All I did was self publish my book and write how to books. I don't think I have the knowledge to become my own publishing company. Good luck to you.

Hello Russ,

Thanks for the gory details linked to self-publishing. I've often thought of doing the same with my unpublished historical novel. However, I'm beginning to think maybe there's less anguish involved with working with an agent, who doesn't always reply to my e-mails, than agonizing over my decision to self-publish.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Russ,

Yes, I am exhausted just listneing to you, but wish you much good luck with your newest venture. I have heard raves about you as an author from my friend, Susan Haley, so if anyone can make a go of this, I think it will be you.

I'll be eager to hear more.

Very best,
