I could feel the pain in the story, the old ice, the cold heart, and the indignation of the parents. What a shame, but to often true.

Wow! What a beautifully written, tragic, sad, and heart-breaking story! I could feel every stab of pain, every ache of loneliness, every cruel slice of loss and betrayal. And your descriptions were sharply drawn and very visual. And altogether excellent story and well deserving of a Story of the Year title!
