"Are You a Unique and Individual Snowflake?"

Jeniffer - great article

The idea of branding an author conjures up an image of publishers and editors standing over a rope bound author with a red hot iron, while lazy streams of smoke rise and the smell of burnt hair emerges. But reading deeper into your article I realize you have a good idea. I tried to form a brand mark with my tiny wolf paw print. I don’t know if it was enough, maybe too subtle. The “Author of Fantastic Tales” moniker doesn’t match the logo. Maybe you could suggest something that would be a harm-moniker for me, create some harmony. I read something the other day that the Scottish tartan, used as a clan ID, was more modern idea that people realize. The Navajo have been showing clan ID for who knows how long in their blanket weave patterns. And the idea of branding animals to show ownership has been done for millenniums. It’s all good stuff to become a product, but I am reluctant to wear a book costume or a wolf head to signings. I gotta work on a better brand.
