Yes, the real power in a society builds the highest structures. The church and cathedrals in middle ages, banks in our times. Global warming is going to make it rough on all the top end predators. I hear shark cartilage is good for fighting cancer and other things. Power traditionally sits with merchants, government, or religions. Did I miss any others? Mick Jagger? Salma Hayek?
