Responses for ~ John Wolf's |
John,
Oh, John, did you think these up on your own or find them scattered hither and yon? (With your quirky sense of humor, I wouldn't put it past you!)
PS
Thanks for the spotlight! Looks great!

We see so many of these and just shake our collective heads, give a little shrug, and wonder, who's watching the store.
Everyone needs an Editor, not just or especially journalists. Were it not for my brilliant editor, John M. Daniel, THE EYES HAVE IT most probably would not have become the page turner I'm told it is. Thanks to his talents as a published author, teacher, mentor, and writing coach, the novel would have remained 600 pages of tedium. When I painted myself into a corner, he made me aware without giving me the solution. Accuracy was paramount. When the self doubts demon we writers try to keep a lid on reared its ugly head, he helped me fight it off with encouragement and on-the-mark criticism.
A good editor is a precious gift. Don't settle for less.

Hey Wolfman . . .
You are too precious. Now you know why I always say humor is your forte. In addition to the writing and sharing you provide writers with at Fox & Quill, you invariably offer a big basket of smiles, too. It would be interesting to know how many otherwise full and dreary days have had a bright spot because of you and your efforts.
In fondness and deep gratitude for one of writers best friends.

Thanks for the laugh of the day. I needed that. If I can't laugh, I might as well die.
