Good article, John!
As a retired educator, I can't agree more. Nurture the individual for his/her particular talents rather than try to force all children through the same cookie cutter mold and into the oven.
Barak Obama is an extraordinarily bright and courageous man who seems to understand the importance of the priority of upgrading our educational system. Let's pray that he can accomplish this lofty goal and pull our economy out of the doldrums.
