Responses for ~ John Wolf''s Story |
Review for John Wolf
I know HTML is a scary sounding acronym for many people,
who tend to see those four letters and recoil in dread of the unknown. Sort
of the way I react when faced with two remote controls, a plasma TV screen
and those many options for playing, saving, recording and replaying. John,
by adding your own brand of humor to 'Weave a Web", you made hypertext
mark-up language appear a little less daunting. Who ever would think to
compare a browser reading HTML to "a sex crazed guru reading the Kamasutra"?
You did and in so doing, no doubt brought a smile to many a face!
Thanks for making me laugh out loud!

Thanks for your article on "Weave a Web".
Letters like URL, HTML, FTD, WE-FTP and others, make me cringe. The web
vernacular is still like a foreign language to me. To borrow from a worn-out
but apropos phrase, "It's All Greek To Me". The irony is that I speak Greek.
My mind continues to freeze up and my hands perspire heavily as I eye these
terrifying initials. However, with your excellent and humorous explanations,
you may make a computer whiz out of me yet, as you decode this bizarre
language. Looking forward to Part II. 5 Stars.

I want to tell you that in addition to all your other talents, you have a flair
for humor that is 'day saving' when I'm ready to pull my hair out one strand at
a time! You actually cause me to laugh out loud. A feat, at the hours I keep on
this horrid machine. And by the way, congrats on Harmonics now being on the active
vendorable list. We need to add it to your section on the Infinity Pages!
