David was born in Cleveland, Ohio. During the Vietnam war era, he served on a United States nuclear submarines as a reactor operator. Later, He worked as a power plant control room operator, and then as a utility industry consultant for twenty years. As a perpetual student, he maintained a passion for learning and blended psychology, engineering, and history with travel experience to write psychological and geopolitical thrillers. He lives with his wife in central New York.
