And let me tell you all that my grandpa who was an incredible writer was a doctor by profession and never thought of indulging in active writing. So in this race of having a more secure future I neglected writing and overlooked the inherited talent.

With time I grew up, did my schooling, and was starting with my college when I found that my passion for writing which was never dead though suppressed was reviving with a great pace. I could feel a strong urge within me, an urge to take a stance, a desire to go with my heart and not to overlook the longing I had for writing. Walking blindly on the path that my heart showed I announced that writing was the thing that I wanted to do and thinking of any other profession was out of question. Believe it that I was born with lucky stars as no havoc broke over my announcement rather I got full support of my family despite of the fact that this whole idea was weird and incomprehensible for them.

And from there onwards I worked towards the fulfillment of my desire of taking writing as a profession and to justify my yearning for writing by achieving my goals and inching towards my mission. In May 2006, I saw my efforts taking shape as I got an opportunity to work as a Junior Copywriter and since that day I have not stopped but have continuously moved ahead. Then I thought of trying my hand in content writing so shifted to another organization (where I am currently working as a Content Writer) to find that I had knack for this type of writing as well. I am still on the move and now wish to enter into screenplay writing and story ideation.

Hereby concluding my story would just like to say that writing is my passion and writing is all that I’ll do for the rest of my life.

I am a 22 year old girl, young, precautious, a day dreamer, straightforward, with loads of desires, love and happiness…yes that’s me. Came in this world on a sun filled but chilly morning of December and was christened as Lalsa. ‘Lalsa’ in Hindi language means earnest desire and I was given this name with a purpose. Also, my name has a sweet and lovely story associated with it but not now, will tell this story some other time as for now I have a lot more to tell about myself.

Born and brought up in a joint family I along with strong values, priceless ethics got something more as a legacy. I inherited the art of writing, the understanding of words and the power of expression. My grand pa used to spend his free hours in writing and I from the time when I got an understanding of words used to accompany him and poke my little pudgy nose in between. Eventually with time things changed for me and I drifted away from writing. My grandfather was still there with his dairy where he had penned numerous writings and a red color Parker but I was not there to bug him with my unwanted suggestions and intervention.

Here in India when a child is born along with him are born various dreams, dreams about his life, his present and his future and so I was no exception. My present was smooth and to make my future worthwhile I was suppose to concentrate on my studies, find a decent position for myself somewhere in the merit list (which never happened) and be a doctor, an engineer or may be a lawyer and writer was no where in the list.
