Season’s Greetings - a Holiday Card for You

hollystick

The Holiday Season is upon us, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone who contributes to and reads foxandquill.com a special greeting message.

To be politically correct, the city of San Diego worked around the “C” word. For over twenty years, the city has celebrated the Christmas holiday with a two-day festival in beautiful Balboa Park, the first weekend in December. It was originally called “Christmas on the Prado.” These past few years, the festival has been renamed “December Nights”. Surely, I surmised, I could come up with something more imaginative than Happy Holidays or Season’s Greetings to all my fellow author friends, so, I say to all of you: Happy Hanukkah, Happy Ramadan, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy Christmas and a Big, Fat, Book Contract for the coming New Year.

For the bilingual, allow me to say: Buon Natale (Italian); Feliz Natal (Portuguese); Feliz Navidad (Spanish); Joyous Noel (French); Frohe Weihnachten (German); Milad Majeed (Arabic); Mele Kalikimaka (Hawaiian), and Kala Christouyena (Greek).

Best Wishes to all in any language.
