I yearn to view the twinkle of a star

My interest in writing means I can explore the depths of my imagination without any boundaries. My various types of poetry extend back approximately to the year 2002. At that time, my granddaughter was three years old, and I thought if I could create some original "Stories that Rhyme" with interesting characters, I could entertain her with them when she was older. I proceeded to write basically children's stories, each one with a different scenario that would be relatively an easy read, fun, and on occasion have a surprise ending. I also felt that incorporated within the story, I would include a passage or two that would involve safety or basic common sense. Most of my stories are geared for children twelve years or younger, but I've written others on a more mature level that adults also enjoy. I do hope that in the near future one or more of my children's "Stories that Rhyme" will be published.
Thanks Vince for the delightful poem... John Wolf |
