Congress says they are looking into this Bernard Madoff scandal. Oh Great!! The guy who made $50 Billion disappear is being investigated by the people who made $1.5 Trillion disappear! Amazon Got Spanked There is a lot of buzz going on about the lawsuit between Booklocker.com and Amazon over the charge to POD authors and publishers that didn't cave into going with Booksurge to avoid an approximate $30 a year fee to list books on Amazon. Blooklocker called their bluff and sued them on monopoly extortion charges. The blogs, Internet social site, and a lot of angry authors pelted, not only Amazon in general, but their funky, half-baked self-publishing brain child, Booksurge. Booksurge took a dive and augured into oblivion to be replaced by Creatspace, which apparently is just a new facade. No big improvement to quality being seen there so far. But the big news is Booklocker won the lawsuit. Rather than try to explain the thing, click_here, and you can read it for yourself. It's a lesson in legalize. Booklocker gave the cash to charity.
